1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Ambient, operated by Scanbo Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
Ambient is intended exclusively for licensed healthcare professionals. By creating an account, you confirm that you hold a valid clinical licence in your jurisdiction and are using the Platform in a professional capacity.
3. Permitted Use
  • Generate AI-assisted clinical notes for your own patients during consultations
  • Review, edit, and export notes to your EHR or practice management system
  • Use the Developer API under a separate API Agreement for integration into licensed clinical software
4. Clinical Disclaimer
Ambient generates documentation to assist clinicians and does not replace clinical judgement. All notes must be reviewed and approved by the responsible clinician before being used for any clinical decision, prescription, or medical record.
Scanbo Inc. is not liable for any clinical decision made based on AI-generated content without appropriate clinician review.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. Each account is for individual use only and sharing accounts is prohibited.
6. Prohibited Use
  • Recording consultations without patient consent where required by applicable law
  • Using Ambient in emergency settings as a primary decision-support tool
  • Uploading patient-identifiable information beyond what is captured passively during a session
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, or attempting to extract the underlying AI models
  • Sharing, reselling, or sublicensing Platform access to third parties
7. Intellectual Property
All Platform software, AI models, trademarks, and proprietary content belong to Scanbo Inc. You retain ownership of the clinical notes generated from your consultations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scanbo Inc.'s liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Ontario, except where applicable law mandates otherwise.
